Introduction

I would like to share with you recipe of yoghurt which I learned from my mom.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of yoghurt

Directions

  • Put the milk in a pot and put it on the medium fire.
  • Wait until the milk froths and take it out from the fire. Make sure that you do not boil the milk too much.
  • Wait until milk the gets warm.
  • When you able to put your finger in it the 2 tablespoons of the yogurt and put the lid on the pot
  • Cover the pot with a thick blanket and leave it to rest for 10-12 hours.
  • The yoghurt now should be ready.

To make your yogurt more delicious do not forget to put some extra love when you make it Smile

Notes

If you are really interested about the history of yoghurt and want to learn everything about it, I suggest a nice book written by Artun UNSAL, called “SİLİVRİM KAYMAK!”. Unfortunately it is available in Turkish, only.
